For the protection of all our patients, pets having external parasites will be treated at the owner's expense. All pets must have proof of current vaccinations.
Dogs: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Lepto (yearly), Bordetella/Kennel Cough (yearly), Influenza (yearly), Fecal test
Cats: Rabies, Feline Leukemia, Feline Distemper
Texas State Law states that for a patient to receive any medical services, including vaccinations, that patient has to have had an exam done by a licensed veterinarian within the last year. Therefore, any pets that are visiting us for the first time, or pets that have not had a wellness exam within the last year, will be charged for a veterinary exam on top of their boarding fees.
All pets will receive Capstar, a flea control medication that kills all fleas on the pet within the first 24 hours but does not interfere with their current treatment. Baths can be given before pick-up at the owner's request.
Angleton Veterinary Clinic does not employ onsite personnel between the hours of 6:00pm-7:00am Monday-Sunday and between 9:00am-5:00pm Saturday-Sunday.
Reasonable precautions will be used against injury, escape, or death of your pet at all times. Angleton Veterinary Clinic and staff will not be held liable for problems that develop provided that reasonable care and precautions are followed. I understand that any problems that develop with my pet will be treated as deemed necessary by the staff veterinarians.
In case of illness or injury, I, the undersigned, do hereby give my consent for the doctors of Angleton Veterinary Clinic to treat, prescribe for, anesthetize, or perform surgery on my pet(s) while they are being boarded. I assume full responsibility for the treatment expenses involved.
