Pet Health

Just like people as they age, pets need to visit the veterinarian more often as they get older to help prevent and treat age-related illnesses. In order to maintain optimal health, The American Veterinary Medical Association recommends that all pets visit their veterinarians twice yearly for a complete physical exam, lab tests and any required vaccinations.

More importantly, a healthy Senior dog or cat should receive a wellness exam and lab tests every six months to evaluate its general health and permit recognition of health problems well before they become serious illnesses.

Your pet's age and health will determine when Dr. Sherry L. Dodson will advise a visit to ensure your pet's optimal health and longer life.
