I acquired Chance almost 6 years ago. I had just started working for Angelton Vet Clinic when a lady called and asked, does Angleton Vet find homes for abandoned animals? I said no why? She said someone let him out at my house and my dogs or husband wont let me keep him. I told her we usually don't but what does he look like? She laughed and said well he's a mut. She described him and I said yes my husband will be there to get him. Boy was our work cut out, he was covered in fleas and stunk---- straight to the tub he went. I called my Mother IN Law because she was looking for a inside dog and we were going to see her in Trinity that weekend. I told her I had a dog for her and his name was "CHANCE" she said, bring him when you come. We took Chance up there and walked in and my Father IN Law says, "What are you doing with another dog?" We proceeded to tell him that Chance was there's now? Boy did we laugh, because he came unglued. Oh no he isn't ours, he's going back home with you! We took Chance back home with us and he has been in our family ever since. He has turned out to be a great dog too and we love him alot!
